Michael Jackson is from Gary, Indiana. Transformers 3 was filmed in Gary, Indiana. Well my mother was murdered there! Elaine Gamez deserves justice & a proper investigation. Her murder is still unsolved, but you can help change that. Spread her story, pray, & donate. Donations are needed for a billboard & reward $ to encourage anybody with any information that will lead to an arrest, to step forward.

The last time I hit the street with the JusticeForElaine street team was on 01/01/12. We are not even close to our goal. We are not even half way to our goal. There is 5 of us total & two of those five are children, ages 6 & 10. Collecting donations out on the street can be hard. Standing on your feet for over an hour, holding your sign up high enough, so cars can read them, does hurt your arms. lol! People turn up their radios or cover their ears when we shout "Justice For Elaine". A car drove up to the 10 year old & acted like they were going to give a donation, but gave a "Fuck you" instead. Anyways... today, we decide to go hit the street up again. We stand in the same spot. The people are familiar with us, the kids are comfortable in the same spot, so they are more relaxed & motivated. We are a familiar face. We have people who come back to us or wait for us to return because they didn't have $ at the time, but wanted to give or the light turned green when they were going to hand us a donation, so they catch us next time. A local newspaper even took pictures of us & I had an interview with them. For all these reasons, we go back to the same spot. Well today there was these 2 men with funeral signs asking for donations. We seen them before, weeks ago. I spoke to them & asked them who passed away. The older man said his grandfather. I told him sorry for his loss & that we would give them half our donations that we made that day. The older man also told me that they moved around & what locations to go to because of the amount of $ you can get. I told him that we just stay at the same spot & I gave him a few reasons as to why. They ended up leaving a short period later. Now today, we see them again. I feel like no big deal. It's a public street & we can share the street right? JusticeForElaine street team usually spreads out to cover the whole block, but since those two men were walking up & down the street, we decide to stay in one spot. We both are at losses, so no need to fight. JusticeForElaine street team wear all the same purple Justice For Elaine t-shirt, but we seen the confusion on people's face when the men went up to the cars to get the donation, so after the 3rd time that happened, I decided to approach the man closer to me. He happened to be the younger one. I asked if he had asked the car who was the donation for, us or them. He told me no he didn't ask, so I went up to the car & asked. The car told me it was for us, our sign. So I told the young man what the car had said & the donation should be handed over to us instead. The young man laughed at me & wasn't so willing to give over the donation. Now we get in an unpleasant conversation. As this is going on, the older man walks up to me from behind & for a moment things don't get better . I then just say why are we arguing or fighting for donations. We are both at a loss & this is a public street. Why is it so hard to give the donation to the right person? If I go up to a car & it's for them, I will give it to them...it's the right thing to do. I don't want to take what is not for my mother & her cause. KARMA! Then the older man agrees, but it seemed like that was still not happening. He then comes up to us again saying we should both go up to the car & the car will probably donate to both of us. Um I am not trying to intimidate anyone. I am not trying to say he or I was right or wrong, I'm just saying what happened to honesty, respect, & sharing? Are times really that difficult? I could have left, but after 13 years, my mother, Elaine Gamez, deserves justice & for somebody to be her voice. Also, after all this, I can mark today as JusticeForElaine street team receiving our 1st $50 donation! :)
I was left to die & crumble, but my spirit rumbles, can you hear it? I'm ready for war, my angel choir roars. I wasn't defeated, I was just sore. Ma's death was a hard hit. I spit up blood on a daily, but GOD made me stronger than that. Now I'm on the road to my comeback. Watch as I attack from the front & the back. I'm coming from all angles. You took away the life of my angel!
I am asking anybody & everybody to please give $5.00 to help fight for JUSTICE. You can also give less or more than $5.00 if you choose. Every bit adds up. To family and close friends, it would be encouraged to give more than $5.00, if possible. Monies will go towards a billboard & reward money. To each and every one of you, I thank you with all of my heart.
